About the author
Alžběta Skálová is a book illustrator, painter, graphic and 3D artist. She is in long-term collaboration with the publishing house Baobab. Her books were also published by other publishing houses such as Labyrint, Albatros, Brod and the French MeMo. She has won several awards for her illustrations. One of the founding members of Kopr, the artists’ collective, which was founded with the intention of publishing original art books and collections. In 2011, together with Martina Kupsová and Alžběta Zemanová, she founded the art and design collective NaPOLI, which focuses on original production of books, posters and paper games. The authors of NaPOLI participated in various shows of small publishing houses and contemporary design in the Czech Republic and abroad, where they presented their work. Alžběta is a member of the internet platform Ilustrátoři.net. She lives and works in Prague.
